What we stand for

We are a team of passionate software developers. Our goal is not to produce as much code as possible, but to deliver measurably useful results: clear priorities, short release cycles, robust architecture and operations that scale with the product.

Predictability

Clear milestones, a transparent backlog and realistic timelines. You always know what comes next.

Quality that lasts

Clean architecture, reviews, tests and sensitive standards so your product remains maintainable and extensible.

Speed with substance

Fast path to an MVP without compromising the foundations. Iterations prioritize user feedback and business value.

Product, not just project

Operations, monitoring, security and roadmap are part of the solution from day one, not an afterthought.

Our path since 2018

A short overview of how a university project became a reliable delivery partner for apps, platforms and cloud operations.

CodeGuides team setup

Foundation

CodeGuides started in the university environment of TH Wildau. Early prototypes and product ideas came from real requirements. Over time, this led to the decision to move beyond concepts and build production software. The early idea of a modern POS product was deliberately dropped when it became clear that custom software was closer to our future clients actual needs.

2019
CG Config as a web platform

First client projects

We realized early that we preferred building individual projects over marketing a standard product. We started with products for craft businesses and larger companies, including backend, roles and permissions, and first deployment pipelines.

Growing client base

Collaboration with a DAX corporation, professionalization of the internal server landscape, automated deployments, clean environments, monitoring and stable processes for growing products.

Phones with Flutter apps

Flutter in the portfolio

Flutter became increasingly important for us as well. We began delivering modern app frontends and faster releases with consistent UX on iOS and Android across multiple projects.

Project takeovers, team growth and cloud expertise

We built enough experience to take over existing projects as well. We also expanded the team and added cloud computing as a core capability, making us more flexible for clients. This enabled both on-premise and cloud hosting.

More complex product landscapes

Kubernetes, logging, metrics and alerting became fixed parts of many projects, making operations predictable. More modules, more integrations: payments, real-time features, admin portals, identity providers and interfaces.

2024
CodeGuides takes over the Findeling project

More project takeovers and modernization

We take over more existing codebases, stabilize them, modernize them and bring products back on track. In October 2024, we took over a large project that had grown for more than 10 years.

Team growth and stronger outcomes

Even stronger focus on roadmap clarity, measurable outcomes and smooth operations after launch across all projects.

Personal words

Two short insights into why we founded CodeGuides and what still drives us today.

I have been developing software since I was 14 and still bring real passion to it. I love seeing ideas come to life and solve actual problems. I also work directly on many projects because I need the combination of management and software development. It keeps me close to the technology and continuously sharpens my own skills.

What I enjoy most is laying the technical foundation. Setting up servers, building pipelines and automating workflows is where I have the most fun. I like it when smart automation reduces operational effort and resilient systems run smoothly.
